Money making ideas

Many people think they have come up with great money making ideas. But a lot of time when they look at it in the cold light of day their money making ideas aren’t half as great as they thought they were.

Or they put the idea in to practice it just doesn’t work and ends up a waste of time -  often costing money to make the original idea happen.

So with that in mind there are certain steps you should carry out to avoid wasting time and money on ideas that just aren’t going to work.

Sleep on your money making idea

Loads of people when they get an idea get excited and start to work on the idea right away.  Don’t fall in to this trap.  The idea will wait until tomorrow and the chances are if you still think the idea is a great money making idea you could be on to a winner.

Ask a friend what they think of your idea

There is nothing like getting a second opinion. If you have slept on idea now is the time to get a second opinion from someone you can trust.  The key word there is trust you need to make sure they aren’t going to take your money making idea and use it themselves.  So ask a friend what they think of your idea.  But don’t be totally put off if they aren’t that keen.  If you believe it in still go through with it as their opinion could be wrong.

See if there is any competition for your idea

Next step is to see if there is any competition for your money making idea.  Do a bit of research on the internet to see if there any competition.  Don’t be put off if there is as that can actually be a good sign.  You just need to improve on the original idea and there is every chance you are on to a winner.
